The Board approved preliminary increases of between 3.25 and 6.25 percent on 1 year leases and 5 and 9.5 percent on 2 year leases.
Tonight's vote happened at the U.S. Customs House in Lower Mountain, NOT Cooper Union.
The Board will hold several public meetings before their final vote, which is scheduled for June 20th.
