A Queens man is facing charges after police say he intentionally hit another man with his car following an altercation on Long Island.

Authorities say the incident began with a fight between men in the same car in a Best Buy parking lot in Westbury Wednesday and ended with 62-year-old Agostino Romano, of Bayside, in handcuffs.

Romano and the victim apparently got into a dispute after entering the parking lot. The second man, only identified as a 60-year-old man, exited the vehicle following a verbal altercation and started walking towards the store.

That's when police say Romano put the car in reverse and struck the victim, knocking him to the ground.

The victim sustained minor injuries, but refused medical assistance at the scene.

Romano was taken into custody without incident.

He is charged with second-degree assault.
