MTA's FASTRACK program to affect N, R lines

May 6, 2013 5:32:45 AM PDT
The MTA's FASTRACK program will be affecting trains in Brooklyn through early Friday morning.

The FASTRACK maintenance program completely suspends train service over a segment of a subway line to give workers uninterrupted access to tracks, signals, cables, lighting, third rail components and platform edges.

This week, work is being done on the N and R Fourth Avenue lines.

From 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., N trains will be rerouted on the D line between 36th Street and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue. Service on the r line will end each night at its regularly scheduled time.
