47-year-old Catherina Scalia, A.K.A. the "Hot Dog Hooker", allegedly visited a hotel in East Garden City in her hot dog vending truck.
Police say while she was in the hotel, she massaged an undercover detective. She then also allegedly offered to perform a sexual act for an undetermined amount of money.
That's when Scalia was placed under arrest.
Scalia is charged with Unauthorized Practice and Prostitution.
She was previously arrested back in May 2012 for prostitution.
After serving a seven-day jail sentence, she was released in June 2012.
