NEW YORK --A New York City police officer helped make an arrest at the same Brooklyn housing complex where he was shot in the head last year. Sergeant Kevin Brennan was with his old partner, Officer Michael Burbridge, along with Brooklyn prosecutors at the Bushwick Houses. On their way out of the building, Burbridge recognized two men as suspects in a May 21st home invasion robbery on Stanwix Street in Bushwick. The officers stopped the suspects and took both in custody. Sergeant Brennan recovered a loaded handgun from the waistband of one of the suspects. The officers were at the Bushwick Houses in preparation for the upcoming trial of Brennan's alleged shooter, Luis Ortiz.
