NEW YORK

More than a third of the money raised still in the bank, and it's no chump change. We're talking about $100 million.

New York City Council members signed a letter demanding the Red Cross spend the money immediately.

Joining us is Josh Lockwood, the CEO of the American Red Cross Greater New York region, along with two of the council members who signed the letter: Dominic Recchia and Donovan Richards, who represent areas devastated by the storm.

Also, the 2013 hurricane season is underway.

Experts predict it will be more active than last year, with between 7 and 11 hurricanes.

Eyewitness News Meteorologist Lee Goldberg joins us with a look at what to expect.
