New images released in attack on gay couple near Madison Square Garden

NEW YORK

Authorities want talk to eight men seen on the surveillance video taken near the incident, which happened just after 6 p.m. on May 5 in front of 490 Eighth Avenue.

The 22- and 28-year-old victims say the men started yelling anti-gay slurs, then beat the couple up after the Knicks game.

One of the victims has a broken nose. Both victims were treated and released from Bellevue Hospital.

Police had previously released photos of one person of interest and video. He is described as an Hispanic male in his 20s, approximately 6-feet tall with brown hair and a tattoo on his left forearm. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, white sneakers, a white Knicks jersey #7 and blue jeans.
