Students from school destroyed in Sandy ready for prom

NEW YORK

Fahmida Monita will be wearing a sari dress, and has hand hennaed as well.

All the boys have their tuxes and are ready to go.

They're having fun now, but back in October prom wasn't a priority after Superstorm Sandy damaged their neighborhoods of Coney Island and Brighton Beach.

Their school also suffered damage.

So while the prom committee at Abraham Lincoln high school continued to meet, making ends meet would be difficult.

But that's when Maneesh Goyal stepped in. He owns MKG an event marketing company that works with the likes of Google and Delta Airlines.

So he and his people worked with the prom committee, to create an ice castle theme and most of the cost is being picked up by MKG.
