Seven people were injured after a car lost control in Midtown, possibly due to the road conditions police say.

The accident happened at 4:45pm at 5th Avenue and 46th Street.

Police at the scene say the driver of the Chevy Trailblazer lost control, hydroplaned, jumped a curb and struck five people.

A mother, father, and 11-month-old baby were struck and taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital where they were examined and released.

Two other people at the scene refused medical attention.

The driver of the SUV and a female passenger also suffered minor injuries.
