Man found shot to death in front of Brooklyn building

NEW YORK

"My father was murdered last night in East Flatbush," said Janine Setteducato, the victim's daughter.

Janine Setteducato says whoever killed her father Paul Setteducato took away not only her father, but her best friend.

"We have no idea what the motive was and why whoever did that had to kill him," Setteducato said.

Someone gunned down the 64-year-old Monday in broad daylight.

Setteducato worked for a real estate management company.

Investigators tell Eyewitness News he was collecting rent around Erasmus Street when he was shot three times.

His wallet was found near his body, emptied out.

"He always had a smile, he lived his life to the fullest," a neighbor said.

Setteducato was well-known and well liked in his Midwood neighborhood.

People are horrified.

"He was wonderful neighbor, so sorry it was a wonderful husband," said Vicky Hodja, a neighbor, "Been married 38-40 years. Kids in their 30's. He's got grandchildren. I'm in shock. I'm upset."

Anyone with information in regards to this missing is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
