At approximately 8:55 a.m., Amtrak reported a low-voltage condition on the Northeast Corridor between Philadelphia and New York. As a result, it was necessary to temporarily suspend service on the Northeast Corridor, and on the North Jersey Coast Line between Long Branch and New York.
Affected trains on the Northeast Corridor were held at stations until the situation was resolved.
NJ Transit has established cross-honoring with PATH trains for customers boarding at 33rd Street in New York, Newark Penn Station and Hoboken Terminal. In addition NJ Transit buses and private carrier buses are cross honoring rail tickets and passes.
