Now, they're hoping surveillance images of the women will lead to arrests.
Detectives say the three suspects worked together to steal the victim's phone on a southbound F train at the Jay Street-Borough Hall station around 6 p.m. on July 29.
One suspect grabbed the phone, while the other two physically prevented from trying to retrieve it.
No injuries were reported at this incident.
