The 30 year old woman was she was jumped near West 102 Street and West Drive at 9:23 p.m.
According to police, the suspect said, "I will kill you."
A struggle ensued and the woman was bitten on her left arm.
She managed to break free and the suspect fled.
The suspect was described as a black man, 20 to 30 years old, wearing a red flannel shirt, black denim shorts and white sneakers.
