A New Jersey woman living in North Carolina is under arrest after she attacked a police officer and then stole his cruiser, and the entire incident was caught on video.

Police say 21-year-old Ayana Kenyatta Taylor, originally of Union, was carrying scissors and a hammer when police in Fayetteville responded to a call of a woman lurking in a church parking lot.

When an officer got there, the woman reportedly got aggressive and lunged at him. The officer tried to subdue her with a taser and received help from a bystander, but Taylor was able to hop in the police car and take off.

She later crashed into three other cars and was taken into custody. She was hospitalized for mental evaluation.

She is charged with assault on a government official with a deadly weapon, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, resisting arrest, delay and obstruct a law enforcement officer and various traffic offenses.
