Images released of suspects in Brooklyn cell phone store robberies

BROOKLYN

Authorities say a pair of men caught on camera robbed a Metro PCS store on Flatbush Avenue around 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 24. An hour later, authorities say the same men robbed a Boost Mobile store on Beverley Road.

In both incidents, the suspects displayed a firearm and ordered store employees to lay on the floor face down. They removed cash and cell phones and fled. There were no injuries.

The first suspect is described as a black male around 40 years old, standing 5-foot-8 with a dark complexion and a bald head. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black face mask, white Nike T-shirt and blue jeans.

The second is a black male in his 20s or 30s, about 6-feet tall with a dark complexion and long black hair (possibly a wig). He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black face mask, white T-shirt and red pants.

Anyone with information in regards is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
