Port Authority police say 10 unlicensed taxi drivers have been arrested during a crackdown at New York's Kennedy International Airport.

The operation Thursday targeted illegal cabbies who take advantage of travelers arriving at the airport. The unlicensed taxi drivers often charge far more than an authorized driver would.

Police say 10 drivers were arrested on charges including unlawful solicitation of ground transportation.

One man is facing a reckless endangerment charge. Police say he drove recklessly while trying to flee.

They say another men resisted arrest and tried to run away. Two officers suffered minor injuries while chasing the suspects.
