The puppy with tons of personality is back where he belongs. However, his owners, Zach and Alie had quite a scare.
Police say 22-year-old Edgar Lopez broke into the couple's apartment no August 30th, and took, among other things, Oliver.
"For those days, we didn't sleep or eat. I don't think I have ever felt that broken to be honest," says Alie.
Zach and Alie posted signs all over Williamsburg, and soon the French Bulldog gained a following on Twitter. Everyone was searching for him, including police.
"We really couldn't do anything, our detective really just put hope in us," said Zach.
Zach says he and Alie went to the detective's office, and there Oliver was with them being coddled.
Oliver still had on his Louis collar and leash, and was hungry and tired. He was okay, thanks to that detective.
The how and why of the situation is still unclear. Zach says they plan to move, since two other suspects are still out there. For now, the family is back together, just in time to celebrate Oliver's first birthday on September 15th.
