Dina Lohan arrested for speeding, DUI on Long Island

NASSAU COUNTY

Police say the 50-year-old Lohan was pulled over around 11 p.m. after she was clocked driving 77 miles per hour in a 55 mile-per-hour zone.

Officers found her to be intoxicated, and she was arrested on a charge of DWI and Aggravated DWI after a breath test revealed her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .20, more than twice the legal limit.

At the state police barracks in Farmingdale, Lohan claimed she had sustained a head injury during the course of her arrest.

When emergency personnel arrived and evaluated Lohan, there were no injuries and she recanted her claim.

Lohan was issued traffic tickets for the two DWI offenses and speeding, and she was released to the custody of a sober male friend.

She is due in court on September 24 at 9 a.m.
