Newark Fugitive Squad bring in most wanted suspects

NEWARK

They call their cases jobs and at any one time, the Newark fugitive squad has more than 30 open jobs with suspects wanted for the most violent crimes

"The shooting job we're going on happened right there in the back," said one officer.

The Newark Fugitive Squad is on the move-their first target, a home where they believe two shooting suspects are holed up.

Luck is on their side for the first job of what will be a long day. Their suspect was on location, so they don't have to go back.

"One week you'll get four or five guys, with good jobs like shootings and carjackings."

But some days, it's one frustration after another.

"A lot of these individuals do bounce from house to house."
