Brooklyn father of murdered toddler sought in mugging

BROOKLYN

Anthony Hennis, 22, was identified by two female witnesses as the suspect in the attack on a southbound number 3 at Saratoga Avenue

Hennis and his accomplice approached a 19 year old man and his pregnant sister on the train at around 1:30 p.m.

Investigators said the suspects made verbal threats and as the train pulled into the station.

The teen gave one of the suspects his watch, and then he was punched in the face. The 2 suspects then took off.

Two women on the train who witnessed the attack went up to the victim and told them that they recognized one of the suspects as the father of Antiq Hennis, the 16 month old fatally shot in his stroller in Brownsville.

Hennis has at least 23 prior arrests, mostly on drug charges.

The second suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, approx. 6'02" in height with braids.
