Bronx livery cab robbery suspects caught on video

BRONX

The incident happened around 4 p.m. back on October 13.

The video shows the suspects just after they put a knife to the driver's throat, robbed him and jumped out of his cab.

The passengers were picked up at the intersection of Eighth Avenue and West 122nd Street and requested to be driven to East 174th Street and Prospect Avenue.

When the cab arrived at the corner of Jennings Street and Chisholm Street, the woman pulled the knife and demanded money.

During the altercation, the victim sustained a laceration to his right forearm. He was treated and released from at St. Barnabus Hospital.

Authorities hope the new video and surveillance pictures will help someone identify the suspects.

The woman is described as a black female in her mid-30s, approximately 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds with a dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue jean jacket.

The man is described as a black male in his early 30s, approximately 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and black knit hat.
