The family of a victim killed in a high speed crash is furious that the driver remains free, even though he's been arrested since that crash on another drug charge.

"Now I feel very upset, angry!" said Rukanul Islam, the victim's son.

Rukanul Islam says it's just plain wrong.

His father died just two weeks ago after suffering a traumatic brain injury in a spectacular crash in the East Village.

A driver lost control of his car on Second Avenue and mowed down everyone and everything in his path. He was later charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

Mohammad Akkas Ali was struck when the car plowed into his flower shop. Rukanul says his dad didn't stand a chance.

"They should do something about the guy," Islam said.

Rukanul says what's all the more infuriating is that the driver, 32-year-old Shaun Martin, reportedly has prior convictions for drug possession and DWI.

He was arrested again just last month for cocaine possession and for threatening to shoot a man outside a Queens nightclub.

All of that happened while he was free on bail for the June crash.

Shaun Martin did not answer the door at his home in Bayside Thursday afternoon.

Rukanul says he doesn't belong at home, he belongs in jail.

"He is a dangerous guy," Islam said.
