Investigators say the man broke into an apartment on Bailey Avenue around 3:30 p.m. on January 16.
He stole jewelry, cash and electronics from the unattended residence.
Then last Wednesday, police say he broke into a nearby apartment within walking distance on Heath Avenue.
The same type of items were removed. No one was injured as a result of these incidents.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 40s, approximately 5-foot-9 with a medium build.
In both burglaries, police say he was wearing a black hat, a black and gray jacket and black sneakers.
