Police say 33-year-old Raymond Morillo was was visited by a friend at the Creedmore Psychiatric Center around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. The men allegedly swapped clothing and Morillo walked out of the facility.
The visitor then exited as well.
Morillo, who was arrested for a double homicide in 1999 and served time in prison before being transferred to Creedmore, was apprehended around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday inside the Greyhound Bus terminal in Memphis.
He will be held there until extradition.
The other man, Ronal Pacheco, was also arrested Wednesday. He faces charges of criminal impersonation and obstruction of governmental administration.
