55-year old William Benjamin has mild mental disabilities, has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, and requires daily medication, according to his family.
He left his group home, the Bernard Fineson Developmental Center in Queens Village, at about 5 p.m. Sunday and has not been seen since.
Benjamin's sister says he will try to talk but cannot communicate. He walks with a cast on his foot as the result of a foot injury.
The family filed a missing person's report on Sunday with detectives at the 107th Precinct.
