Noise complaint turns into major drug bust in Queens

A simple noise complaint turned into a major drug bust in Queens.

Officers were called into an apartment in South Flushing because of a loud stereo on Friday. They say Frank Giardina answered the door holding a marijuana pipe.

The officers were simply going to write Giardina a ticket, until he invited them inside. That is where they found five pounds of heroin sitting out on a table.

Further search turned up nearly two thousand envelopes of heroin.
