The firefighters had responded to the home on Jan Court in Montvale when the deck collapsed just after 9:15 p.m.
They were checking out a possible chimney fire at the time.
About six firefighters and the homeowner were treated.
None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
The cause of the collapse is under invesetigation.
