No one's laughing after teen's Twitter prank to American Airlines

DALLAS, TX

In what appeared to be a terror-threat filled tweet to American Airlines, a user named "Sarah" said she would do something "really big."

In the tweet, she wrote "Hello, my name's Ibrahim and I'm from Afghanistan," then continued "I'm part of al Qaida and on June 1st I'm gonna do something really big. Bye."

Within seconds, the Dallas-based airline responded, tweeting, "Sarah, we take these threats very seriously. Your IP address and details will be forwarded to security and the FBI."

Sarah responded with more than a dozen frantic tweets, claiming she was only a 14-year old girl playing a stupid prank. She begged the airline to forgive her, then deleted her account.

Police in the Netherlands arrested the girl and began questioning her, but no charges were immediately filed.
