Wednesday is the deadline for parents to apply for free pre-kindergarten spots at New York City public schools.

Mayor de Blasio secured funds to expand city-wide pre-K, and now he wants to make sure enough children sign up.

More than 4,200 new full day pre-K seats will be added to public schools this September.

All city children turning 4 years old this year are eligible for a spot.
