Just after midnight on Sunday, police say the suspect, driving a four-door sedan, approached the young woman who was walking westbound on northbound side of 25th Avenue while approaching 126 Street.
He asked if she wanted a ride. She said no and continued walking westbound.
Investigators say the suspect then parked his vehicle at the northwest corner of 25th Avenue and 124th Street and grabbed the victim around the waist and put his hand over her mouth, trying to drag her back to his vehicle.
The victim resisted and the suspect ran to the vehicle and then drove northbound on 124 Street.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 30 to 35 years-old, with a light beard and mustache, short dark spiked hair, approximately 5'6" tall, slim build, and wearing a blue short sleeved shirt. The four-door sedan he was driving had damage to the passenger side area.
