Officer arrested

April 30, 2014

This time - a detective, off-duty, shooting his gun 13 times and investigators are not sure why. Some of those bullets found its mark - someone in a car.

An off-duty officer is now under arrest; he'll likely lose his badge. But the bigger question is begged: What's going on with these cops in a department that's supposed to be undergoing reform and reorganization and a renewed sense of public purpose?

We're on the story, tonight at 11.

Also at 11, Meteorologist Lee Goldberg leads our rain and flooding coverage - up to 4 inches of rain in some parts of our area. Yes, we need the rain, but not this much this quickly.

We'll also have any breaking news of the night, plus Rob Powers with the night's sports, including game 7 of the Rangers round-one playoffs. I hope you can join Sade Baderinwa and me, tonight at 11.
