Computer aide barred from Westchester school after appearing topless in film
Jim Dolan has the story.

GREENBURGH (WABC) -- The film, a drama about a struggle among young women to be allowed to bare their breasts in public as men do, is played out as a sort of civil rights battle. Victoria Bolton never imagined it would cost her her job.

"I fix computers, I install software," Bolton says.

Bolton works at Woodlands Middle High School, part of the Greenburgh School District. She acts some, and was asked to appear topless in the latest film called "Free the Nipple".

"I thought about it, I checked - well, why not?" she said.

When word of Bolton's role in the film, which was released without a rating in order to avoid an NC-17 rating, leaked out, Bolton was removed from the school, placed in the district office, and was threatened with being fired.

Bolton got a letter saying, "I caution you to limit your acting roles to those that will not result in nudity that is openly accessible to students in our district. To the extent your future acting roles cause a disruption in the school, we will consider your termination."

The school district did not return calls for a comment, and Ms. Bolton says they still have not allowed her back to her old job. She is worried they still may fire her for appearing topless, which she says is the point of the film.
