PATERSON (WABC) -- A high school principal in New Jersey is suspended after a controversial photo of him emerged.

It purportedly shows him posing with two students while holding up a cell phone image of people having sex.

School district officials confirm that Moses McKenzie, the interim principal at the Destiny Academy in Paterson, is facing possible disciplinary action but will continue to be paid pending the result of an ongoing investigation.

Sources say the photo shows McKenzie with two boys, holding the cell phone towards the camera. All three are smiling.

The school is for youngsters with behavioral problems and has about 65 students.
