BEDFORD-STUYVESANT -- The principal of an elementary school in Brooklyn is accused of smuggling drugs into a jail.

Sadie Silver, the principal of P.S. 28 in Bedford-Stuyvesant, was arrested Friday at the Coxsackie Correctional Facility upstate.

Police say she and her boyfriend Michael Acosta were caught smuggling heroin to an inmate while they were with a 10-year-old child.

Silver is being reassigned from P.S. 28.
