POCATELLO, Idaho -- There was an unusual participant in a commencement ceremony in Idaho last weekend. Cletus, a black pit bull, walked across the stage at Idaho State University.

Cletus is a service dog, but his owner Joshua Kelly passed away before he could receive his degree. So Cletus walked with Josh's father to accept the diploma Josh had worked so hard to earn.

Josh, who had epilepsy, was finishing his final two classes for a bachelor of science in geology when he passed away on Feb. 13.

It was an emotional moment for all involved. "This is for Josh," his father Terrell said as he and Cletus accepted the diploma.
