Backstage with Sandy Kenyon: 'Room'
Sandy Kenyon chats with Jacob Tremblay, one of the stars of the "Room."

NEW YORK (WABC) -- With award season not far off, Oscar buzz is growing for some of this year's most talked-about films.

Among them is "Room," the story of a mother and her young son and their escape to freedom. And even if Oscar doesn't smile on Jacob Tremblay this time, the young actor is a person to watch with a name you should remember.

He hails from Canada, where he got his start at the age of 5 and earned his part in "Room" at 8. He's finished another movie and and is shooting a film now, as well, and he just turned 9 years old.

He sat down with entertainment reporter Sandy Kenyon. Check out the video to hear what he had to say.
