ABC's 'The Catch' returns with new story, same chemistry
Entertainment reporter Sandy Kenyon has the latest details.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- ABC's "The Catch" is back for a second season, and the show's stars say that this time around, the stories will feel a little different.

Peter Krause and Mireille Enos get good grades on Hollywood's most important test: chemistry.

"You either like to play with each other or you don't," Krause said.

And luckily, they were pleased with the pairing.

"We had a rehearsal before we ever started shooting, and even just in that little time, it was clear that we just understood how to bounce things and how to be next to each other," Enos said. "It was easy."

For Enos, it was a chance to go towards the light after the darkness of "The Killing." It was a show that impressed Krause so much, he said the chance to perform with her was the chief reason he took this job.

"There was a great quote from an acting teacher of mine from NYU, who said that 'what happens between two people is always more interesting than what one person is doing,'" he said. "So if you can make something happen between you, that is going to grab the audience's attention."

"The Catch" began last year, with their characters in love before he left her in lurch and it was revealed she had been fooled by a great con man.

And the chemistry is so good that the series has been tweaked to make better use of it.

The Catch Season 2 premieres March 9.
