Concertgoers sent to hospital at Boys of Zummer concert at Jones Beach

JONES BEACH, N.Y. (WABC) -- At least 14 concertgoers were taken to the hospital following a concert Wednesday night at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater.

The people were attending the Boys of Zummer Tour, an event featuring Fall Out Boy and rappers Wiz Khalifa and Hoodie Allen.

They were treated for symptoms consistent with alcohol and drug consumption. All were expected to be treated and released.

About 10 concertgoers were arrested, and dozens were issued summonses.

Some concertgoers were detained by police until their parents could pick them.

The New York State Park Police union said 20 officers were assigned to the event.
