For the seventh year in a row, a list of celebrities who did good this year has been released. No, not good on the screen. Good in the community.

The list highlights celebrities that have used their fame to bring about social good. Taylor Swift topped the list for the third year in a row.

DoSomething.org, a website for social campaigns aimed at young people, puts the list together. Public vote is considered when choosing the winners, but a panel of entertainment experts also weighs in.

Among the reasons Swift was chosen was her decision to donate all proceeds from her song "Welcome to New York" to New York City Public Schools. Several celebrities were given top spots because they advocated for gender and gender identity equality, according to the site.
