Smiles, music and moves: A cappella group performs at Brooklyn nursing home
Kemberly Richardson has more on the SUNY Potsdam a cappella group's sweet performance.

BROOKLYN, New York (WABC) -- It was all smiles at the Schulman and Schachne Institute for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brooklyn Thursday as the Potsdam Pointercounts performed for seniors at the nursing home.

The a cappella group is made up of students from SUNY Potsdam, who are currently on tour and thought those at the facility at Brookdale Hospital would enjoy the music.

The all-male group started in 1992 as a barbershop quartet, singing valentines to raise money for a campus fraternity.

Over the years, more students joined. Now, there are 13 members.
