Stars share their allegiance to the force at the 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' Premiere

Dark side or light side? This is the ultimate question in the Star Wars Universe.

At the world premiere of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, we asked the stars which side they stood on.

Many celebrities chose the light side, while others said life requires a little bit of darkness.

Kevin Richardson of the Backstreet Boys and his 9-year-old son Mason were on opposite ends of the spectrum.

"There's more action on the dark side and they have cooler costumes," said Mason.

Kevin Richardson rebutted his son, saying, "In the end, the light shall prevail."

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story officially opens on Dec. 16.
