Watch the magical new trailer for Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast'

The tale as old as time looks beautiful in this new live-action adaptation.

Starring Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as Beast, the new adaptation of the classic Disney animated film looks to be a visual treat, with magical scenery and household objects coming to life.

"Beauty and the Beast is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle," according to the trailer's YouTube description. "Despite her fears, she befriends the castle's enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast's hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within."

Directed by Bill Condon, the movie will also include new songs and music from composer Alan Menken, who won two Oscars for his work on the original 1991 film. Beauty and the Beast hits theaters on March 17, 2017.
