NEW YORK (WABC) -- Over 150,000 fans have descended upon the Javits Center on the West Side of Manhattan for Comic Con this weekend.

The show sold out in four hours and highlights include Disney's new films Tommorowland starring George Clooney and the follow up top Frozen, Big Hero 6. Exclusive merchandise highly coveted along with attractions like the Lego models and video game releases like How To Train Your Dragon.

Costumes of course abound.

"It's about people's passions it's really an event that says like this is for you it's about you and whatever you're into," Said Lance Fensterman show manager for New York Comic Con.

"I'm most excited to actually meet the creators of some comics because I'm actually a big comic fan," said one Comic Con fan who was convincingly dressed and painted like Mr. Gold from ABC's television show "Once Upon A Time".

"Honestly as a fan, that's what we do, to be able to share the love that we have gotten from their work to be able to share that back for a brief moment that's what it means," said another fan dressed as Belle also from "Once Upon a Time".

Some of the most highly anticipated events of Comic Con weekend are the panel discussions with casts and crews of shows like "The Walking Dead" and "Game of Thrones".

"It's whatever you want to experience, it's kind of what you're into so whether it's shows like Gotham or it's toys like Lego or it's 600 artist in our artist ally area that are doing sketches, there's something for everybody and for the geek in everybody," said Fensterman.

Comic Con runs through the Sunday and if you can't make it to the sold out event, you can check out the action via live stream. http://www.newyorkcomiccon.com/Whats-Happening/NYCC-Streaming/
