Demetrius Shipp Jr. stars as the late rapper. The film is due in theaters in November.

'Wicked' movie finally underway

"Wicked" is finally coming to a theatre near you, but you'll have to wait a few years.

Universal announced in a statement that they are releasing the film adaption of the long-running Broadway musical in December 2019.

There's no word on who will star in the film, but fans of the Tony-winning musical are rooting for Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth to reclaim their leading roles of Elphaba and Glinda.

"Wicked" is set before the events of the "Wizard of OZ" and includes many favorite characters from the classic film.

"Wicked" has been a hit on Broadway since it opened in 2003 and has earned more than $2 billion over the past 10 years.

'Finding Dory' screenings for the blind, visually impaired

If your family includes a "Finding Dory" fan who is blind or visually impaired, you're in luck.

Descriptive audio tracks for movies require special gear and are only available at a few theaters, but for "Dory," theater-goers can bring an iPhone or iPad and earbuds, and use the "Disney Movies Anywhere" app to hear both the film's original audio, and narration of what's happening on-screen, for people who can't always track the action visually.
