Couple celebrates 50 years of marriage at White Castle

OAK LAWN, Ill. -- A couple celebrated 50 years of marriage right where it began- at White Castle.

Buck Carroll proposed to his wife Joann in the parking lot of the restaurant at 95th and Cicero in Oak Lawn. They returned there on Wednesday night to celebrate. About 30 guests joined the couple to mark this happy day.

While they probably had cake at some point, since it was White Castle, the guests enjoyed burgers, fries and onion rings.
