In the video above, you can see Lachlan, a baby with moderate to severe hearing loss in both ears. He's a bit fussy and upset, but when the aids kick in, Lachlan is nothing but smiles, clearly transfixed and full of wonder over his new hearing ability.

This modern medicine miracle was captured by father Toby Lever when the baby was 7-weeks old. According to the video's description, Lachlan is now two-years old and doing very well with his new aids. Just goes to show that wonderful acts of medicine can happen every day.
