Popular Disney Parks inspired dessert found at 'Pineapple Express' in Chelsea Market

CHELSEA, Manhattan (WABC) -- There's a sought-after dessert vendor in Chelsea Market that is whipping up a familiar tasty treat.

Fans of the famous Dole Whip, pineapple soft serve popularly sold at Disney Parks around the world, can flock to Pineapple Express to indulge on its version of the frozen float.

Founder of Pineapple Express Heather Fuller created her own concoction inspired by Dole Whip, using non-dairy coconut milk based ice cream with pineapple juice, vanilla extract with lime juice and topped off with swirling soft serve ice cream.

Fuller believes many enjoy the dessert, not only for its Pina Colada or pineapple frozen yogurt taste, but for its ability to bring customers back to their childhood memories of sipping on fresh cups of Dole Whip in Disney World.

A soft serve cup or cone will run you $5. But that's not all they serve. There's also a pineapple sundae with exotic fruits. That will cost you $10.
