UPPER EAST SIDE (WABC) -- The New York Mets could clinch a spot in the World Series tonight and people all over the city are showing their team spirit, even on their food!

Glaser's Bake Shop in Yorkville on the Upper East Side has been a staple of the community since 1902.

The bakery has been in the family for three generations so far, and appears it could continue for a fourth!

A cashier at the store who is a fan of the "Amazins" came up with the idea to create a special Mets cookie.

The cookie is a take on the ever popular black and white cookie, except that this one uses orange and blue in honor of the Mets. Some have baseballs of frosting in the middle, while others say "Go Mets!"

"We have very loyal customers and if we can bring smiles to their faces we like to," said Herb Glaser, one of the owners. "I just hope they keep winning because then the cookies will keep selling!"

They also had mini versions of the cookies available as well.

Glaser's Bake Shop is located at 1670 1st Avenue, near 87th Street.
