Boy grows and donates hair for kids with cancer
Bill Ritter has more on how the little boy is helping.

PASSAIC, New Jersey (WABC) -- A 7-year-old boy from Passaic, New Jersey, spent three years growing his hair long so he could help other children who are going through a tough time.

Kaleb Ramos finally cut the long hair that reached all the way down his back, so he could donate it to make wigs for children with cancer.

So, where did someone so young come up with this generous and caring idea?

"I had a teacher who donated her hair, so I wanted to donate mine," Kaleb said.

"It was awesome to see your little son want to do something good for other people," said Ramon Ramos, Kaleb's father.

Kaleb now plans to grow his hair long again so he can donate it one more time.

He also loves to play football.
