Surf's up! NYC Women's Surf Film Festival hits Rockaway Beach next weekend

ROCKAWAY BEACH, Queens (WABC) -- Surf's up! Friday, August 12th marks the start of the 4th annual New York City Women's Surf Film festival on Rockaway Beach.

The festival will feature a photography show, and various films that focus on the inspiring lives of women surfers, and their unique journeys and passions.

On Sunday, there will be a morning surf session and refreshments along with the filmmakers and notable surfers including Aline Bock, Erin 'Worm' Ashley, Mele Saili, Jeannette Prince, Fran Miller and other special guests.
